The installation process of waveform guardrails on highways

Preparation phase

1. Material preparation: According to design requirements and actual needs, prepare corresponding specifications of components such as waveform guardrail boards, columns, anti blocking blocks, ends, and connectors.

2. Equipment preparation: Prepare necessary installation equipment, including pile drivers, drilling equipment, welding equipment, fasteners, etc.

3. On site investigation: Conduct a detailed investigation of the installation site to determine factors such as underground pipelines and geological conditions that may affect the installation.

Installation, measurement, and testing of high-speed guardrail columns

Column placement: Place the steel column in the predetermined position, paying attention to verticality and height.

Concrete pouring: Fill the pile holes with concrete, fix the columns, and wait for them to solidify.

Board preparation: Measure and cut the waveform guardrail board according to the actual length of the road section.

Segmented installation: Fix the cut waveform guardrail board between the two pillars in sequence and fix it with connectors.

Install anti blocking blocks: Install anti blocking blocks in appropriate positions to enhance the overall protective ability of the guardrail.

End treatment: Ensure that the end of the protective fence is installed correctly to provide good sealing and transition.

Verticality inspection: Check whether the installed columns are vertical and adjust them if necessary.

Connection firmness inspection: Ensure that all connectors are securely fastened and not loose.

Overall inspection: Check the continuity and linearity of the entire waveform guardrail to ensure compliance with design requirements.
